William Koehler is a managing attorney in the firm’s South Carolina Default Practice. He specializes in mortgage foreclosures, creditor bankruptcy, real estate, evictions, and other mortgage-related matters. Since 2006, William has been a dedicated advocate for mortgage lenders and servicers, representing their interests in both state and federal courts across South Carolina.
Recognized for his expertise and commitment to the field, William has been honored with an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell since 2012. Super Lawyers® recognized him as a South Carolina Rising Star in the Creditor Debtor Rights practice area from 2014 to 2020.
Beyond his professional endeavors, William actively engages with the legal community as a member of the Richland County Bar Association and the Lexington County Bar Association. He served as President of the Lexington Bar in 2015.
William is a 2003 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and a 2006 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. He resides in Columbia, SC with his wife and two children.
