Thomas Van is a managing attorney in the firm’s Litigation Division. He is an experienced business and litigation attorney with over 21 years of success representing Fortune 500 companies and individual clients in financial services, product liability, real estate, and regulatory compliance projects.

Thomas’ expertise encompasses all aspects of litigation relating to financial services, the automotive industry, real estate, mortgage banking, loan origination and servicing, commercial and personal asset management, contract disputes, title insurance, land use, real estate transactions, medical malpractice, pharmaceutical and medical products liability, and a myriad of regulatory compliance matters.

Thomas graduated from the UCLA School of Law, where he received Moot Court Honors and assisted in prosecuting environmental cases as a law clerk with the Environment Section of the California Attorney General’s Office. Prior to law school, he graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a specialization in Asian American Studies. During his undergraduate studies, Thomas was a U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Special Litigation Section law clerk. He volunteered extensively with UCLA Unicamp to bring the joy of camping to young adults in Southern California.

Committed to giving back and connecting with the community, Thomas volunteers with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and California Lawyer’s Association.
