Ace Van Patten

Ace Van Patten is the Managing Attorney in the firm’s Nevada office, where he focuses on representing lenders, loan servicers, and beneficiaries in bankruptcy, contested litigation, and foreclosure matters. Since 2010, he has guided clients through complex legal issues in state and federal courts, providing practical counsel and strategic representation throughout the default-servicing process.

Ace is licensed to practice in the state courts of Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. He is admitted to all U.S. District Courts and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in Nevada, Idaho, and Oregon, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

In addition to his practice, Ace has served as Treasurer of the Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar of Nevada since 2018, reflecting his ongoing commitment to the legal profession and the bankruptcy community. He was named to Nevada’s Legal Elite in 2017 and was recognized by Super Lawyers® as a Nevada Rising Star from 2020 through 2023.

Ace earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada and his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law.
