Biography
Erica Lewis doesn’t just build technology infrastructure. She builds the operational backbone that allows organizations to scale without breaking. As Chief Information Officer, Erica has spent more than a decade architecting the systems, teams, and strategic frameworks that transformed a startup into a 33-jurisdiction powerhouse.
Since joining ALAW in 2011, Erica has been the driving force behind some of the firm’s most consequential technology investments. She built the firm’s IT Business Intelligence framework from the ground up, creating the data visibility and reporting architecture that now supports decision-making across the entire enterprise. When ALAW expanded through mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, it was Erica who led cross-functional product development teams through the complexity of integration, ensuring continuity of operations without missing a beat for clients or regulators.
What sets Erica apart is a rare combination of legal industry depth and enterprise technology leadership. Her nearly decade-long foundation at Florida Default Law Group gave her an insider’s understanding of legal compliance, regulatory risk, and the operational realities of default servicing, fluency that most technology executives simply don’t have. She doesn’t translate between legal and technology; she thinks in both languages simultaneously.
A Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Project Management Professional (PMP), Erica leads with a bias toward execution and a commitment to building systems that scale. Her teams don’t just deliver projects. They deliver outcomes that move the firm forward.
