Michael began his career in law in 1990 as an assistant prosecutor in Camden County, New Jersey, handling major felony crimes. After the prosecutor’s office, Michael joined a private practice, focusing on commercial defense and commercial litigation.

In 2001, Michael founded Milstead & Associates, a regional creditor’s rights law firm based in New Jersey & Pennsylvania. They have covered all areas of mortgage servicing, exclusively, for 22 years.

In 2023, Milstead & Associates merged with ALAW and Michael Milstead joined the firm as our Partner, overseeing New Jersey & Pennsylvania operations.
